-2 log likelihood (-2 log L)

This is a measure of how well the fitted model matches the observed values of the outcome or dependent variable. This is often used to compare different models that have been fitted using exactly the same set of observations. This is generally not reported in the medical literature, but is provided in some of our default output for use by statisticians.
