Developments

The goal of this subgroup is to identify the clinical/medical questions and corresponding set of graphical displays that are most useful for evaluating safety data specific to ECG and Vital Signs. Our progress to date is noted in the attachments below.

July 12th:

Attendees: Liping Huang, Antonio Paredes, Rich Anziano

Meeting Summary:

The meeting for June was cancelled.

We had a very brief meeting.

Antonio indicated that he and Eric have been swamped and haven't made progress on producing and publishing the remaining plots to CTSPEDIA. Antonio will send a project timetable as this is the last outstanding item for our subgroup.

Liping discussed preparations for JSM stat graphics session.

We discussed the email string about the possibility of our Industry/FDA/Academia reforming under DIA. It was generally felt that the benefits of having better exposure for our graphic tools would be outweighed by the potential loss of our academic partners who may not be members of DIA.

We discussed the question around the code and the need to get closure on the topic at the larger meeting. It was also agreed to raise the topic of slide distribution and whether there needed to be any sort of approval from the larger group before sending our slides to attendees of conferences that we present on behalf of this Industry/FDA/Academia group.
