Guidelines for Residency Projects

What is a Residency Project?
The ACGME requires that all residents in US Medical Schools complete a scholarly project during residency. For more information about these requirements see:

Throughout CTSpedia there are many resources for helping a resident complete a residency research project. In this section, we will focus on residency projects with electronic medical records. In the following pages, we will offer links and suggestions for completion of your project.

  1. In Year One you will cover preparations and IRB submission for your Residency Project.
  2. In Year Two you will collect the data for your Residency Project.
  3. In Year Three you will analyze and write-up your Residency Project.
